The Sea, Up Close.
The Sun House
A bright top floor hideaway with a generous private terrace that catches the sun all day. Ses-blue beams, whitewashed walls, and handcrafted ceramics carry the spirit of the coast inside. The kind of place where mornings are slow and the sea is always in view
The Wave House
A cozy seafront apartment with a balcony that opens straight onto the ocean. Sunrise coffee at the breakfast bar, sunset wine to the sound of the waves. Handmade ceramics, traditional materials, and a calm Mediterranean rhythm in every corner
La Tosca
A ground floor retreat made for slower mornings and longer stays. Warm wood, soft linen, and original Tosca stone wrap the space in quiet character, with the Mediterranean just steps from the door.
A Quieter Side of the Mediterranean
Often called the jewel of the Costa Blanca, Jávea stands out where rugged cliffs meet impossibly clear turquoise water. The old town’s honey‑coloured stone glows in the afternoon light, and life moves to the slow rhythm of the sea. Sheltered by the Montgó mountain and facing Ibiza and Formentera on the horizon, this coastline remains pristine, unhurried, and quietly beautiful. It’s a place to breathe deeply, swim in hidden coves, eat well, and remember what it feels like to truly switch off.
The Story Behind The Sea House
Hi, I'm John, owner of The Sea House. I was born here on the Costa Blanca, and as a photographer and filmmaker, my work has always followed the things I love most: the ocean, the outdoors, and being fully present in a beautiful place.
The Sea House comes from that same spirit. Three apartments in one beachfront building in the Port of Jávea, each designed to feel calm, natural, and connected to the sea. Spaces made not just to stay in, but to slow down in.
We are not a hotel. We are a small team who love this town and want you to experience it the way we do: unhurried, full of beauty, and right beside the water. Whether you are here for a few days or a few months, welcome
